The Lynx helicopter was designed for both army and naval use, excelling with outstanding flight characteristics, including the ability to perform full aerobatics. Interestingly, in 1986, it set an absolute world speed record for helicopters (over 400 km/h), which remained unbroken for decades. Over the years, a number of modernized versions, such as the Super Lynx, have been developed to serve in roles ranging from anti-submarine warfare to the transport of special forces.
