A Naval Weapon on a Tiger Chassis
The Sturmtiger was created by converting damaged Tiger I heavy tanks. Its defining feature was its main armament—the massive 38cm RW-61 rocket launcher, originally developed for the German navy as an anti-submarine weapon. The fired rocket projectile weighed almost 350 kilograms and could level massive buildings or entire city blocks with a single shot. Due to the enormous weight of the ammunition, a special built-in crane had to be used to load the rockets, and the crew could carry only a very limited number. The machine gained infamy particularly during the suppression of the Warsaw Uprising in 1944.
Unique Dioramas and Models
In this category, you will find carefully crafted replicas from leading manufacturers. For fans of smaller formats, we offer a detailed plastic model in 1:72 scale from the Easy Model brand. A real treat for demanding collectors are the premium die-cast metal models from the Forces of Valor manufacturer in the impressive 1:32 scale. These exclusive pieces are not just standalone vehicles but function as comprehensive dioramas. They often include elaborate crew figures, authentic depictions of handling the massive ammunition, and precise late-war camouflages.
