The Su-25 was designed with a single goal—to survive the hell of the frontline and destroy enemy armor. A key element of its construction is the unique titanium bathtub, up to 24 millimeters thick, which protects the pilot from crossfire from the ground. Thanks to ten underwing hardpoints, the aircraft can carry a massive amount of weaponry, from unguided rockets and bombs to heavy gun pods. The machine has proven its capabilities in dozens of conflicts and remains one of the most effective tools for close air support (CAS) to this day.
