A Bunker Destroyer with a Massive Howitzer
The Sturmpanzer IV was specifically designed for direct infantry fire support in urban environments. Its main weapon was the massive 15cm StuH 43 howitzer, which could level fortified buildings or bunkers with a single direct hit. To survive the confusing and highly dangerous environment of urban warfare, the vehicle featured exceptionally thick frontal armor on its boxy superstructure and was often equipped with Schürzen spaced armor on the sides to protect against shaped charges from bazookas.
