A Delta-Wing Interceptor
The MiG-21 was designed as a light and fast interceptor aircraft whose main task was to take off in the shortest possible time, intercept enemy bombers, and neutralize them. The machine excelled with a massive speed exceeding Mach 2 and fantastic climb rates. Thanks to its relatively simple yet extremely durable design, the "twenty-one" was exported to dozens of countries around the world and became a symbol of many armed conflicts in the second half of the 20th century.
The Unique Czech MFN Upgrade
For domestic collectors and patriots, the model in this category represents a true gem. The HobbyMaster brand has recreated the highly specific MiG-21MFN variant. These were aircraft of the Army of the Czech Republic that underwent a unique modernization of avionics and communication systems in the 1990s to be fully integrated into NATO structures.
