Lavočkin La-7
The Lavochkin La-7 ranks among the best Soviet fighter aircraft of the Second World War, but it holds an even more important dimension for us. These exceptionally powerful machines were flown by Czechoslovak pilots on the Eastern Front and subsequently helped build our post-war air force. In this category, we offer a pre-assembled 1:72 scale plastic model from Easy Model. It proudly wears Czechoslovak national insignia and represents a perfect, affordable addition for any fan of our military history.

A Fast Predator from the East
The La-7 was developed from its predecessor, the La-5FN. Designers improved aerodynamics, reduced weight, and incorporated metal spars into the wooden construction. The result was an exceptionally agile and fast aircraft that completely dominated at low and medium altitudes, easily outperforming even the best German Focke-Wulf Fw 190 and Messerschmitt Bf 109 fighters. With its massive Shvetsov radial engine and heavy cannon armament, it was an aircraft built for the harsh and unforgiving battles over the Eastern Front.
The Czechoslovak Legacy and Post-War Service
For domestic collectors, this aircraft is an absolute must-have. La-7 machines formed the armament of the 1st Czechoslovak Mixed Air Division in the USSR, which advanced towards our homeland alongside the Soviet army. After the war, these fighters served in the newly forming Czechoslovak Air Force under the designation S-97. The model from Easy Model offers a well-crafted replica with accurately applied period camouflage and the typical roundels of our air force, all at a very reasonable price.
