Crushing Power by Porsche
This machine was built on a unique chassis from Ferdinand Porsche's unrealized Tiger tank proposal. Its main weapon was the excellent 8.8 cm Pak 43/2 L/71 anti-tank gun, capable of destroying Allied armor at extreme ranges. After its initial deployment at the Battle of Kursk, the original "Ferdinand" version underwent modernization, receiving a commander's cupola and a hull machine gun for infantry defense. This modified variant went down in history under the name "Elefant".
