The Stealthy Hunter from the Protectorate
The Hetzer vehicle was created as a modern replacement for the obsolete Marder series. Its design cleverly utilized the proven chassis of the originally Czechoslovak LT vz. 38 light tank (Pz.Kpfw. 38(t) in German service), manufactured in large numbers in the Protectorate during the war. The armored vehicle featured heavily sloped frontal armor and a powerful 7.5cm PaK 39 anti-tank gun, capable of dealing with most Allied tanks of the time. Thanks to its extremely low profile, the Hetzer was easy to camouflage and absolutely ideal for defensive battles and unexpected ambushes.
