Heinkel He 70: From Civilian Airliner to the Luftwaffe

Although the He 70 Blitz was created commissioned by Lufthansa for fast civilian transport, its exceptional performance soon attracted the attention of the nascent Luftwaffe. Thanks to its clean aerodynamic lines and elliptical wings, it reached speeds that surpassed the fighters of its time. The aircraft was therefore quickly adapted for military purposes, serving as a light bomber and reconnaissance aircraft, seeing its combat debut during the Spanish Civil War with the Condor Legion. Furthermore, its design significantly influenced the development of the later famous He 111 bomber.

Collector's Elegance of the Silver Classics Edition

Given its historical significance, we offer this aircraft in a specific collector's execution. The 1:200 scale model by Atlas Models belongs to the popular Silver Classics series. It features an all-metal construction with an attractive silver surface finish that highlights the aircraft's timeless aerodynamic shapes. It is supplied on an elegant wooden base, making it not only a valuable addition to an aviation collection but also a tasteful desk decoration.
