Hawker Hurricane
The Hawker Hurricane was a British single-seat fighter aircraft that served during the Second World War. It was this reliable aircraft on which most Czechoslovak pilots earned their first combat spurs after arriving in Great Britain. In our selection, you will find a top-tier 1:48 scale model by HobbyMaster, made of metal with plastic accessories. This specific piece proudly carries the "České letectvo" (Czech Air Force) label, as it pays tribute to a legend—the machine of the most successful Czechoslovak fighter ace in the RAF.

The Czechoslovak Legacy in the RAF
Although the Hurricane was the first single-seat fighter aircraft with a fully retractable landing gear, it made history primarily through its rugged durability. Czechoslovak aviators started on Hurricanes, and many stayed with them in the later stages of the war, especially during extremely dangerous "Intruder" night missions over enemy territory. This model represents exactly such a Mk.II machine from 1942, based at RAF Tangmere, England. It was flown by the legendary Karel M. Kuttelwascher of RAF No.1 Sqn, who became a feared night predator in this all-black fighter coded JX-E.
A Premium Set with Accessories for Patriots
This piece from the HobbyMaster aviation edition offers not only a high-quality model measuring 20.4 cm in length and 25.3 cm in wingspan but also an exclusive collector's experience. The aircraft can be displayed on its landing gear or on the included stand. The real bonus of this package is the wealth of accessories—the model includes a special print measuring approximately 45 x 30 cm created by Piotr Forkasiewicz, as well as a collectible "RAF Wings" patch. It is a valuable gem for the collection of any lover of Czechoslovak military history.
