Rear Casemate and Front Engine

The Uralmash-1 project was created in the autumn of 1944 with the aim of developing a highly mobile tank destroyer on the proven chassis of the T-44 medium tank. The layout of the entire vehicle was completely unconventional. The casemate with a 100mm gun was moved to the rear of the machine, while the engine compartment was located at the front. This design was intended to ensure better weight distribution and protect the crew, but the cramped space and unbearable heat in the cabin ultimately led to the termination of the project before mass production could begin.

A Rare Prototype for Your Collection

In this category, we will satisfy demanding collectors who search for rare and unrealized projects from the era of the Soviet design school. We offer a highly detailed model from the specialized Modimio brand, which stands out with an attractive format in the 1:43 scale. The miniature accurately captures the single completed prototype of the SU-101 machine in the classic green livery of the Soviet Army. The solid metal hull and precise plastic details, including the atypically placed casemate and anti-aircraft machine gun, make this model a true collector's rarity.
