From Infantry Support to Tank Destroyer

The StuG III was built on the proven chassis of the Panzer III medium tank. Its casemate, turretless design with a low silhouette made it a difficult target to hit and allowed for easy camouflage in the field. Early versions (such as Ausf. A to E) were equipped with a short-barreled 7.5cm gun for the direct support of advancing infantry. However, with the growing threat of heavily armored Soviet tanks, the vehicle gradually received long-barreled anti-tank guns (from the Ausf. F and G versions), effectively transforming it into a feared tank destroyer.

A Wide Selection of Versions and Camouflages

In this category, you will find an exceptionally rich collection of plastic models charting practically the entire development of this machine. We offer both affordable variants from the Easy Model brand and premium pieces from the manufacturer Dragon Armor, which stand out with fine details and realistic weathering. Available are early versions from the beginning of the war, machines with side skirt armor (Schürzen), and special artillery variants like the StuH 42 assault howitzer. The 1:72 scale models bear authentic liveries from various fronts, ranging from the winter fields of the Eastern Front to classic three-color camouflages.
