A Giant Gun on a T-10 Chassis
The project designated as Object 268 was created in the nineteen fifties with the aim of developing a heavily armored vehicle capable of destroying any Western tank at long range. The machine utilized the modified chassis of the T-10 heavy tank, topped with a massive fixed casemate housing a terrifying 152mm gun. Although the prototype trials were relatively successful, the rapid development of anti-tank guided missiles and lighter armor made this cumbersome concept obsolete even before mass production could begin.
A Unique Plastic Model
In this category, we will especially please collectors of rare and prototype military equipment from the early Cold War period. We offer a very affordable yet highly detailed plastic model from the well-known Easy Model brand. The miniature in the compact 1:72 scale represents the single produced prototype in the classic green livery of the Soviet Army. The model accurately captures the specific shape of the massive superstructure, the huge barrel with a muzzle brake, and the complex running gear taken from the T-10 tank.
