A Naval Special for Pacific Islands
The Type 2 Ka-Mi tank was developed specifically for the needs of the Imperial Japanese Navy to support amphibious landings on Pacific islands. The machine was based on a modified Type 95 Ha-Go light tank, to which massive hollow steel pontoons were added to the bow and stern. These floats gave the vehicle the necessary buoyancy for sailing on the open sea, and after a successful beach landing, the crew could easily jettison them from the inside, turning the machine back into a fully-fledged ground tank with a 37mm gun.
Detailed Plastic Miniatures from the Kurils
In this category, we will satisfy fans of unusual historical equipment with excellently crafted plastic models. We offer highly detailed miniatures from the premium Dragon Armor brand in the compact 1:72 format. The models accurately capture the machines deployed during the defense of the Kuril Islands in 1944. You can enrich your collection with both the naval gray variant and the classic green camouflage. Each model perfectly reproduces the complex shapes of the removable floats and the hull of this Japanese special.
