High-Altitude Predator with Long Wings
The design of the Ta-152, led by the brilliant engineer Kurt Tank, was visually distinguished primarily by its significantly extended wingspan. This solution provided the aircraft with the necessary lift in the thin air of high altitudes. The powerful Jumo 213 E engine, equipped with a multi-stage supercharger and MW 50 injection systems, allowed the machine to reach an excellent speed of over 750 km/h. Although it was one of the best piston fighters of the war in terms of performance, it entered combat only in the very final stages and in numbers that could no longer reverse the situation in the skies.
