A Rescue Parachute for the Entire Aircraft
From a technological standpoint, the Cirrus family of aircraft caused a complete revolution in the flying world. Their most fundamental and famous innovation is the CAPS parachute rescue system. In the event of catastrophic engine failure or pilot incapacitation, one simply pulls a handle in the cabin. A giant parachute is then deployed from the roof of the aircraft, bringing the entire machine and its crew safely to the ground. The lightweight composite material construction and a fully digital glass cockpit, which offers pilots the comfort of commercial airliners, also contributed to their huge success.
From Private Flights to Elite Academies
This category will please every fan of modern sports and training aviation. You can enrich your collection with superbly crafted models that chart both the private and professional sectors. Attractive private machines in the corporate colors of the manufacturer Cirrus Design Corporation itself with American registration are represented. A true pearl for collectors are the large training models bearing the livery of the prestigious European Flight Academy, under whose wings giants like Lufthansa and Swiss train their future pilots.
