An Amphibious Workhorse on a Light Tank Chassis
The BTR-50 transporter was developed in the nineteen fifties on the modified chassis of the PT-76 amphibious light tank. Unlike its sibling, it was designed to safely transport up to twenty fully armed soldiers across water obstacles and challenging terrain. The machine featured a large boat-like hull and the absence of a traditional turret. Thanks to its reliability and excellent amphibious capabilities, it served in many armies worldwide and participated in numerous conflicts in the Middle East and Asia.
Detailed Die-Cast Model in 1:43 Scale
