The AMC Schneider P16 was a French armored car developed during World War I. It was manufactured by Atelier de Construction de Rueil (AMC) in collaboration with Schneider-Creusot. It was originally designed as a reconnaissance vehicle with a crew of four. It was armed with an 8 mm Hotchkiss machine gun and some versions also had a St Etienne machine gun. It had 7 mm thick armor and reached speeds of up to 60 km/h. The P16 was used by the French army during World War I, but also in the interwar period and during World War II. It was used in combat in France, but also abroad, for example in Morocco. A total of 320 of this type of vehicle were produced.
