Product detailed description
This is a professionally assembled and painted collector's model of the Tiger I heavy tank (early/mid production). The model is delivered completely finished. It contains a high level of detail including photo-etched (PE) metal parts and precisely applied patina/battle wear.
Scale: 1:35 (ideal size for surface details and accessories)
Material: High-strength plastic (PVC/ABS) combined with photo-etched metal details.
Main weapon: Faithfully reproduced legendary 8.8 cm KwK 36 L/56 gun.
This model represents a specific historical machine with tactical number 332, which belonged to the 3rd company of the elite 503rd heavy tank battalion (schwere Panzer-Abteilung 503).
The coloring and markings correspond to October 1943 on the Eastern Front in the USSR, specifically the fighting in the area of the Ukrainian town of Znamyanka (Znamenka). This tank is known among historians from period photographs, when, while attempting to cross a stream on a makeshift bridge, it rolled down and sank deep into the famous autumn Ukrainian mud (so-called rasputice), after which the crew had to laboriously rescue it with the help of another Tiger tank.
