Panzerkampf - Leopard 1 Belgian Army 4th Lancers, Soest, West Germany, 1969, Belgie, 1/72

Product detailed description

The collector's metal model of the Leopard 1 tank depicts a Belgian army tank from the 4th Lancers Regiment, which was deployed as part of NATO forces in the garrison town of Soest in West Germany in 1969. In 1967, Belgium became the first export customer in history to order these modern West German tanks to rearm its army.

Material: Metal with plastic parts (so-called Die-Cast). The body and hull of the tank are cast from metal, which gives the model a pleasant weight and stability. The turret and small details are made of plastic to achieve maximum fidelity of detail.
Moving parts: Fully rotating turret (360°) and vertically adjustable inclination of the cannon barrel.
Chassis and tracks: The wheels and tracks are processed in great detail, but are solid and static (they do not have a rotation function), which is standard for highly detailed collector's models.
Markings and camouflage: Authentic olive green paint of the Belgian army. All inscriptions, insignia and registration number are applied using pad printing technology, so there is no risk of them peeling off like with regular decals.

Length: approx. 13.2 cm (including barrel) / approx. 9.8 cm (stock only)
Width: approx. 4.7 cm
Height: approx. 3.6 cm
