About the model:
The MiG-15 was one of the first Soviet jet aircraft and significantly influenced air combat during the Korean War (1950–1953), where it clashed with aircraft of the USA and its allies. This model depicts the aircraft in service with the Civilian People's Air Force of North Korea (CPVAF) in the 1950s, when the MiG-15 played a key role in defending North Korean airspace and in battles along the 38th parallel.

The MiG-15 was a major Soviet jet fighter aircraft, developed in the 1950s by the MiG (Mikoyan-Gurevich) design bureau.
