Detailed information

Product detailed description

Full metal model of the aircraft -Lockheed- C-121G Super Constellation NASA.

Full metal replica of the aircraft with plastic accessories in a scale of 1:200.
Dimensions: The fuselage length is approximately 17.5 cm and the wingspan is approximately 19.5 cm.

Unlike the camouflaged military versions, this model has a purely scientific, civilian color scheme:
Main color: The aircraft body is bright white (with aluminum/silver elements on the wings and lower part of the fuselage).
Details: An elegant blue stripe runs along the entire length of the fuselage.
Logos: On the rudders and fuselage, it bears the iconic round blue NASA logo (the so-called "Meatball") valid in the Apollo era.

The aircraft model is from the HobbyMaster aviation edition. This is a high-quality model with lots of accessories. It is possible to have the model on a chassis or on a stand - the chassis are interchangeable.

Interchangeable Landing Gear: Two sets of landing gear covers and landing gear legs are included. You can display the model either with the wheels extended (standing on a base) or with the wheels retracted (in flight configuration).
2. Moving Parts: All four propellers on the Wright R-3350 engines are fully rotatable.
3. Stand: The package includes a metal and plastic display stand on which the model can be placed and simulated in flight.

L-1049 Constellation
The L-1049 Constellation was a four-engine, propeller-driven airliner manufactured by the Lockheed Corporation from 1943 to 1958. The L-1049 was widely used by airlines in the 1950s and 1960s. The L-1049 Constellation was designed to carry up to 95 passengers in comfort and luxury. However, in practice it was often used in a configuration with fewer seats to offer passengers more space and comfort. It was also used as a military transport aircraft and for government purposes. The last flights of this aircraft took place in the 1970s.
