Ilyushin Il-62
The Ilyushin Il-62 is a four-engine jet aircraft that was developed by the Soviet design bureau Ilyushin in the 1960s. It was the first Soviet jet aircraft designed for long-distance passenger transport. The Il-62 was designed to carry up to 200 passengers over distances of up to 10,000 km. The aircraft was powered by four Soloviev D-30K turbojet engines, which allowed it to reach speeds of up to 950 km/h. The Il-62 was a very successful civilian transport aircraft in the Soviet Union and other Warsaw Pact countries. It was also exported to countries such as China, Cuba, and East Germany.
