The EA-6B Prowler was an American fighter aircraft developed by Grumman Corporation for the needs of the United States Naval Air Force. The main task of this aircraft was to create electronic interference and protect against enemy radar radiation. The EA-6B was equipped with an advanced radar detection and jamming system and could also be armed with cruise missiles to destroy ground targets. The aircraft was deployed in many conflicts, including the Gulf War and the Iraq War, where it played a key role in protecting coalition forces from enemy air defenses. The EA-6B was in service for more than 40 years, and was replaced in 2019 by the more modern EA-18G Growler.
