Blitz 72 / PMA - Base for Flak, Diorama, 1/72

Product detailed description

The finished diorama base "Stand Fast" represents a realistic field fortification designed primarily for the display of German anti-aircraft guns (Flak) and other military equipment from the Second World War in 1:72 scale.

Material and weight: Made of high-quality, heavy polystone resin (resin). The base has a stable weight, does not warp like plastic and very faithfully conveys even the finest textures.

Finishing: The product is completely hand-painted and patinated by PMA artists. It contains realistic transitions of clay, mud and static grass.

Dimensions: Approximately 30 × 20 cm (approx. 12" x 8"). This provides the perfect balance between compactness and sufficient space for the weapon, accessories and crew figures.

The scenery is called "Stand Fast" (in translation: Stand Fast / Do not let go of the position) and represents a circular or semi-circular field position (emplacement):

Defensive wall: The dominant feature is the detailed modeled sandbags complementing the earthen wall and the wooden reinforcement of the trench walls.
Pre-prepared accessories: Small details are scattered on the base, such as wooden ammunition boxes, fuel or oil barrels and small rubble, which naturally enliven the scene.
