The EA-6B Prowler was an American combat aircraft developed by Grumman Corporation for the needs of the United States Naval Air Force. The main task of this aircraft was to create electronic jamming and protection against enemy radar radiation. The EA-6B was equipped with an advanced system for detecting and jamming radar signals and could also be armed with guided missiles for destroying targets on the ground. The aircraft was deployed in many conflicts, including the Gulf War and the Iraq War, where it played a key role in protecting coalition forces from enemy air defenses. The EA-6B was operated for more than 40 years, and in 2019 it was replaced by the more modern EA-18G Growler aircraft.
