A-7 Corsair II
The A-7 Corsair II is an attack aircraft produced in the 1960s and 1970s for ground support. It had a capacity for one pilot, was powered by a single jet engine, and was capable of carrying various types of weapons. The aircraft was actively deployed in several conflicts, including the Vietnam War and operations Desert Storm and Desert Shield. It was also used by the navies of several countries. In total, more than 1,500 A-7 Corsair II aircraft were produced, many of which were later converted into other variants. It was gradually replaced by more modern aircraft types.
