Ilyushin Il-76
The Il-76 is a Soviet strategic cargo aircraft with four engines, designed and developed by the Ilyushin design bureau. The Il-76 aircraft was first put into service in 1974 and was produced until 2012. It is capable of transporting up to 60 tons of cargo, including military equipment, vehicles and personnel. The aircraft has a maximum take-off weight of 190,000 kg and can operate from unpaved or poorly maintained runways. Some countries, including Russia, still operate this type of aircraft today.
