The F-5 Tiger is a light multi-role fighter aircraft, powered by two engines with a total power of up to 5,000 lb. It had a classic wing area, a characteristic small cockpit with excellent visibility, a pair of 20 mm cannons and could carry up to 7,000 pounds of weapons. It was used mainly as a fighter aircraft, but was also used for training and reconnaissance.
