The RF-101 Voodoo was a Canadian fighter aircraft that was modified for air defense and carried out important tasks during the Cold War. The aircraft was powered by two jet engines and had a maximum speed of over 1,900 km/h. Its main task was to protect Canadian airspace from possible threats. The Voodoo was equipped with anti-ship missiles and a radar search system. It served in the Royal Canadian Air Force until its gradual retirement during the 1980s and was replaced by more modern fighter aircraft.
