The EA-6B Prowler was an American combat aircraft developed by Grumman Corporation for the needs of the United States Naval Air Force. The main task of this aircraft was to create electronic interference and protect against enemy radar radiation. The EA-6B was equipped with an advanced system for detecting and jamming radar signals and could also be armed with guided missiles for destroying targets on the ground. The aircraft was deployed in numerous conflicts, including the Gulf War and the Iraq War, where it played a key role in protecting coalition forces from enemy air defenses. The EA-6B was in service for over 40 years, and was replaced in 2019 by the more modern EA-18G Growler.
