Bell AH-1W Cobra
The Bell AH-1W Cobra is a military attack helicopter that was developed in the 1960s by the American company Bell Helicopter. It is a modernized version of the original AH-1 Cobra model, which was developed in the 1960s and served in the Vietnam War. The AH-1W was primarily designed to support ground forces and carry out attacks on enemy fortifications and defense systems. The helicopter is equipped with two M197 20mm Gatling machine guns that can fire up to 7,500 rounds per minute. It can also carry up to 16 TOW anti-tank guided missiles or 70mm unguided rockets. The AH-1W is equipped with modern avionics, including digital displays, GPS navigation and night vision devices. The helicopter can be equipped with various sensors and systems, such as a system for detecting enemy radars. The helicopter was deployed in many conflicts, including the Persian Gulf War, the Iraq War and the War in Afghanistan. It is currently being replaced by the more modern AH-1Z Viper model.
