The M151A2 MUTT is a US-origin off-road vehicle that was used by the Army and US Marine Corps. It was produced from 1959 to 1982 and was upgraded in 1971, when it received the name M151A2 MUTT. It was used as an all-purpose vehicle for transporting people, cargo and equipment. It was 3.25 metres long, 1.75 metres wide and 1.82 metres high, had a capacity for 4 passengers and driver and 4-wheel drive with a speed of up to 80 km/h. It was equipped with a four-cylinder petrol engine producing 71 hp and had additional equipment including a waterproof electrical system, disc brakes, all-wheel suspension and fully independent suspension. The M151A2 MUTT was used in combat in Vietnam and many other conflicts. The US Marine Corps used the MUTT to train and test troops at Camp Fuji, Japan, where various combat situations and conditions were simulated.
