The Convair CV-880 was a commercial jet aircraft developed by Convair in the 1950s and 1960s. This medium-sized aircraft was designed for short and medium haul routes and offered fast and efficient passenger transportation. The aircraft had a capacity of 88 to 110 passengers and was powered by four General Electric CJ-805 jet engines. Only 65 were produced, although it performed well, its limited range and competition from more modern aircraft contributed to its limited commercial success.
