About M4 Sherman:
M4 Sherman was the main American medium tank during World War II, named after General William T. Sherman. It was armed with a 75mm or 76mm gun and several machine guns and had a crew of five. The Sherman was the most widely used Allied tank and was very flexible in a variety of roles. It had some shortcomings, such as inadequate armour protection, but was effective in the Normandy landings and during the Battle of the Bulge. After the war it was used until the 1960s and appeared in several films and TV series.
