The Airbus A319 is a narrow-body transport aircraft manufactured by Airbus. The first flight took place in 1996. It is a scaled-down version of the Airbus A320. It has a capacity of up to 156 passengers and a range of up to 6,900 km. The aircraft is equipped with modern avionics, including the Fly-by-Wire flight control system. It can be used for short and medium-haul routes. The aircraft is considered reliable, economical and environmentally friendly. The main competitors include the Boeing 737 and the Embraer E-Jet.
